Privacy Policy

finprodata ("finprodata", "we", "us") helps founders find and contact investors using verified capital-markets data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using finprodata you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address, used for magic-link sign-in.
- Company and campaign data: the company description, raise details, and outreach preferences you provide to configure your agent.
- Connections you upload: if you upload a LinkedIn connections export, we use it to identify which investors you may have a warm path to. We store the resolved matches and the raw rows for that purpose.
- LinkedIn account data (only if you connect LinkedIn): your connection list (name, headline, company where available, and profile link), used for the same warm-path matching, plus an account identifier for the connection itself. We also cache which people at a given firm are reachable through your network, including the degree of connection and the number of shared connections. We never receive your LinkedIn password.
- Google account data (only if you connect Gmail): permission to send email on your behalf and, if you enable it, to read messages to sync replies into your inbox. We also read your Google account email address to label the connection.
- Usage data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use Google user data
finprodata's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we use Gmail access only to send the outreach messages you compose or approve and, where you enable reply sync, to display replies to those threads. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except as needed to provide and secure the feature, comply with law, or with your explicit consent.
How the LinkedIn connection works
Connecting LinkedIn is optional. You sign in through a hosted window operated by our integration provider, Unipile, which holds the resulting session and calls LinkedIn on your behalf; we read your connections through that provider and re-sync them daily. We use this only to flag which accounts you already have a warm path to. We never send messages, connection requests, or any other action from your LinkedIn account.
This is automated access to LinkedIn using your own session. LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated access to its service, so connecting is at your discretion and at your own risk, and LinkedIn may limit or restrict an account it believes is being accessed this way. You can disconnect at any time in Profile, which deletes the stored session at the provider and stops all syncing; connections already matched stay until you ask us to delete them.
How we use your information
To provide and improve the service: configure your agent, match and surface investors, draft and send the outreach you approve, sync replies, and support your account. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help us run finprodata (for example hosting, database, and email-delivery vendors), bound to protect it, or when required by law. Investor and firm records shown in the product come from public regulatory filings and licensed data sources.
Retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it. We use industry-standard measures to protect it. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Your choices
You can disconnect Gmail at any time in Settings, which revokes our access, and disconnect LinkedIn at any time in Profile, which deletes the stored session and stops syncing. You can request export or deletion of your account data by emailing us. Disconnecting or deleting may limit features.
